ChatGPT Ads reach & budget calculator
ChatGPT Ads are new — there is no reach or audience-size reporting inside the platform yet. This calculator estimates audience size, CPC, and click-volume budgets from the context hint you describe, so you can sanity-check intent before you spend a dollar.
Built for coaches, consultants, and service providers who want booked calls — not just clicks. Every estimate ends with budget bands for test, validate, and scale phases.
How it works
- We read your hint. A language model breaks down the audience description: the buyer's industry, where they are in the buying journey, and 3–5 short search phrases that real people would type when they need what you sell.
- We estimate audience size. Each phrase gets a monthly search range, weighted by how specific the phrase is. Broad phrases get bigger ranges with lower confidence — that's intentional, not a bug.
- We estimate CPC. Each phrase returns a low/high CPC band. ChatGPT Ads currently sees less auction competition than Google, so planning bands skew cheaper than search — but we keep them honest instead of promising pennies.
- We size budgets by clicks. Test = enough budget for a 5–10 day read. Validate = 50–100 clicks. Scale = 300+ clicks, where optimization actually starts working. The dollar amounts shrink when CPCs are high and grow when they're low.
- We flag thin data honestly. If search volume is low or fewer than two phrases return data, the result says so instead of pretending to be precise.
- Built for booked calls. Once your ads run, connect Your Calendar and every click-through, booking, and paid invoice is attributed back to the campaign — so you know what your cost per booked call really is.
